Feast of the Seven Fishes

Feast of the Seven Fishes

Winter '26.
A tradition in our way.

Some traditions are worth keeping. Others are worth making your own.

For Winter '26, we took inspiration from the Feast of the Seven Fishes, an Italian-American Christmas Eve tradition built around seafood, good company and the simple pleasure of sharing a meal.

With the sea always close to our hearts, it felt like a story we should tell. And, naturally, worth bringing to the table.

A little history behind the feast.

The tradition finds its roots in Southern Italy, where Christmas Eve has long been celebrated with a meatless meal centred around fish and seafood. Over generations, Italian-American families made the custom their own, with seven seafood dishes becoming a familiar part of the occasion.

Every family has its own recipes, rituals and ways of celebrating. And that's what we like about it. The details may change, but the idea remains the same: taking time to enjoy the good things together.

For our Winter '26 campaign, we gave the tradition our own interpretation. Seven fishes became seven illustrations, setting the tone for a winter story inspired by maritime heritage, nostalgia and the festive season.

From the sea to the table.

Of course, we couldn't tell the story without bringing it to life.

So we invited our community to join us at The Outpost in Zandvoort, just a stone's throw from the sea, for our own take on the feast.

We dressed the space in Law of The Sea, set the tables and brought our seven fishes into the surroundings. Then the best part: Good food, drinks flowing, conversations across the tables and an evening that carried on in its own way. Familiar faces mixed with new ones, and somewhere between the courses, we made a few more memories.

A story to carry into the season.

Feast of the Seven Fishes became more than the inspiration behind our Winter '26 campaign. It gave us a way to bring together the things that have always been part of Law of The Sea: our connection to the ocean, an appreciation for tradition and the people we meet along the way.

That energy runs through our Winter '26 collection. Maritime influences, seasonal textures and contemporary pieces made for wherever the colder months take us.

A little tradition, a little nostalgia, and our own way of doing things.

Driven by the Currents.
