Vacancy: Account Manager / NETHERLANDS
Location: ’s-Hertogenbosch
Type: Full-time (5 days)
Build relationships. Grow partnerships. Make an impact.
TA great retailer is more than a point of sale. It’s a partner.
At Law of the Sea, we work with some of the leading independent fashion retailers in the mid-to-high segment across the Netherlands. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Account Manager who wants to take these partnerships to the next level. Someone with drive, commercial instinct and, above all, personality. In this role, you’re not simply selling collections. You build long-term relationships, understand what moves in your customers' stores and think alongside them to improve results. Because at Law of the Sea, sales doesn’t stop when an order is placed. We are focused on sell-out, growth and building successful partnerships together.
What you'll do
You’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail partners across the Netherlands. You’ll spend a large part of your week in the market: visiting customers, talking about performance, spotting opportunities and understanding what is happening on the shop floor.
You will:
- Build strong, long-term relationships with our retail partners.
- Manage and grow your own portfolio of accounts in the Netherlands.
- Present and sell our seasonal collections during pre-order periods.
- Actively work with customers on re-orders and sell-out opportunities.
- Analyse sales performance and translate insights into concrete commercial actions.
- Identify new retail opportunities that fit the positioning of Law of the Sea.
- Act as a commercial sparring partner for your customers — not just as a salesperson.
- Work closely with our sales, back office, marketing and product teams.
Your success isn’t measured by how many orders you write. It’s measured by the quality of your partnerships, the growth of your accounts and how well Law of the Sea performs at retail.
What you bring
You have 2–4 years of sales experience within retail and/or wholesale and know how to build genuine relationships with customers.
Experience in fashion is a strong plus, but just as important is your commercial mindset and your ability to connect with people. You’re someone who:
- Has a natural commercial drive and enjoys achieving results.
- Builds relationships through trust, energy and personality.
- Understands that great sales starts with listening.
- Is comfortable analysing numbers and turning them into opportunities.
- Takes ownership of their accounts and follows through on commitments.
- Enjoys being on the road and spending time with customers.
- Wants to grow together with an ambitious brand.
- Holds a valid Category B driving licence.
